Hello there. It's Monday morning and we've had our coffee/tea out on the deck of the house we're renting in Takapuna. We are a 10 minute walk from Steve, the groom's parents house. We went over there for dinner and a visit last night. As expected, they are very nice people and we felt very comfortable and had lots of laughs about the upcoming week. It is nice to hear the bride say, we'll take this one day at a time.
So today, the Super Bowl will be on TV here at the house about noon. Maggie is taking us for a tour of Auckland and lunch. Steve is coming for us this morning to take a walk either around Lake Pupuke or down to the beach at Takapuna. It's overcast but very warm and humid. If the sun were out we'd be hot and it's 8:30 AM. Don is in music heaven as there is a Bose ipod system in our bedroom and several other places in the house.
Life is good and the long journey is already fading from our minds as it should be. We wish those of you who are joining us this week, safe travels and we'll see you soon!
