It's still Friday - 4 February - Parents of the bride leaving Portland Oregon
From LAX! Well, we’re in LAX but no free Wifi, so I’m typing this to paste in later….who knows when we’ll bump into free internet.
Our day has passed quite well. Our good friend gave us a lift to PDX and we checked in with the first airlines and enjoyed the experience. The flight to LAX was not full. On the flight, in coach, was Michael Cera! He was Bleeker in the movie Juno. Amy sat next to a young woman who was traveling down to LA to audition for a spot on a TV show named Wipeout! We would not have known what it was except we bumped into it late one night and watched some guy get beat up as he tried to accomplish the obstacle course. Kind of silly but she was most excited to try to get on the show.
We’ve got a few hours before we board, our luggage is checked in. Amy still has the wedding dress and the rings intact! Pat on the back for Mom. Don has been very patient and hasn’t complained too much even after we took a shuttle bus all around the terminals only to reach our destination at the terminal that was right next to where we started. Oops!
